Editorial policy

This is the page that holds me accountable. It sets out what I do as the editor of this site, what I refuse to do, and the standards you can hold every page to.

Independence

Every page on this site is written independently of JanitorAI, Inc. and of every competitor named on the janitor ai login page. No platform sees coverage before publication, suggests edits or holds a veto. That rule applies to the alternatives in the comparison table as much as to Janitor AI itself.

Affiliate Revenue in Plain Language

Yes, the site earns affiliate revenue from some outbound buttons. If you sign up or subscribe after clicking one, I may receive a commission from the destination platform at no extra cost to you. Affiliate revenue is not allowed to decide any of the following:

  • Which platforms appear in a comparison, because selection follows what readers compare.
  • Their order in a table, because order follows fit and price.
  • Whether a weakness gets mentioned, because a weakness stays on the page.
  • Whether a competitor is left out, because every relevant alternative gets named.

Sponsored Content Policy

There is no sponsored content on this site. I don't accept paid posts, product placements, native ads or guest posts from platforms I cover. If that ever changes, this page will say so before any sponsored item goes live.

Corrections and the Correction Log

Confirmed factual errors are corrected openly. The page is edited, its dateModified is updated and a line goes into the log below. Typos and wording polish are not logged, but every change to a fact is.

  • Correction log. No entries yet. The first substantive correction will appear here with its date, page and the nature of the change.

Sourcing Standards

Every material claim on the main page traces back to an official platform page, an official store listing, a competitor's own page, named press or a labelled community source. When a fact appears only on third-party sites, I say that in the text. The weighting between these sources is set out on the methodology page.

Use of AI in the Editorial Process

I use language models only for research support, never as the author of published text. They can summarise a long document, but they also invent prices, dates and quotes, so nothing they produce reaches a page without a check against the source. Every published sentence is written or rewritten by me.

Handling of Sources and Quotes

Quotes from official pages are reproduced word for word and linked where it helps the reader. A rule or figure is never stretched to say more than its source does. If a source qualifies a claim, the qualification travels with it onto this site.

Reader Rights

You are entitled to five things on every page: an accurate review date, a named author, a correction route, an affiliate disclosure and an editor who answers for the content. The methodology page covers how I deliver on those rights day to day. This page is the promise itself.

Contacting the Editor

Editorial questions come straight to me on LinkedIn. That covers corrections, disagreements with a specific claim and press queries. I reply within seven working days.
